Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. How it works? According to therapist and creator David Grand, the direction in which people look or gaze can affect the way they feel. During Brainspotting, therapists help people position their eyes in ways that enable them to target sources of negative emotion. With the aid of a pointer, trained Brainspotting therapists slowly guide the eyes of people in therapy across their field of vision to find appropriate “brain spots,” with a brain spot being an eye position that activates a traumatic memory or painful emotion.

Sound Frequency Healing

Did you ever feel an event? We tie emotions to event/s that have occurred to us throughout life. Energy Sound Therapy is a technique that is pain free, drug free and can provide a sense of healing. Our results are positive, effective, fast, safe and non-invasive. We discovered that our actions are primarily controlled by unconscious beliefs that are mostly passed down through generations. We are not consciously aware of these beliefs and are led to believe that our actions are normal. When you act from your true self you are in power and have control over your life. When you act in your primal nature you live in fear and act out of instinct, even when it is inappropriate. When acting within your primal nature you are easily controlled by those who know how to push your buttons. You are stuck and overwhelmed by the events and people around you. An average session lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.

Testimonials

"I believe I have been with the Center for Suicide Awareness for the past ten years helping in whatever I could do to make known to the public that the Center is here to give support to those lost a loved one to suicide. Having the experience of wanting to end my life because I no longer could bear the pain of depression. By the grace of God I did not complete my route to suicide. I was fortunate that my brain chemistry slowly began to stablize and was helped by a police sargeant who had experience with mental illnesses and helped me back to my family. Because of this experience, I have been able to help families what may have been happening in their loved ones' lives that caused them to consider suicide."

"The Center for Suicide SOS group is helping us as it gives us a place to meet and talk with other survivors who lost a loved one to suicide. A death by suicide is hard to understand but by talking with the group it has helped us to move forward."

"As an educator, I have participated in professional development surrounding youth mental health on various occasions. I am also QPR (question, persuade, & refer) certified. Throughout these trainings, I have learned so much about the Center for Suicide Awareness and the hopeline they have created. I have the call-in and text-in number saved in my contacts and have personally used the text-in line myself during moments of high anxiety and stress. I also share the number to my students or to anyone who might need it. Please call or text in if you need help. They are there for you."
