Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. How it works? According to therapist and creator David Grand, the direction in which people look or gaze can affect the way they feel. During Brainspotting, therapists help people position their eyes in ways that enable them to target sources of negative emotion. With the aid of a pointer, trained Brainspotting therapists slowly guide the eyes of people in therapy across their field of vision to find appropriate “brain spots,” with a brain spot being an eye position that activates a traumatic memory or painful emotion.

Sound Frequency Healing

Did you ever feel an event? We tie emotions to event/s that have occurred to us throughout life. Energy Sound Therapy is a technique that is pain free, drug free and can provide a sense of healing. Our results are positive, effective, fast, safe and non-invasive. We discovered that our actions are primarily controlled by unconscious beliefs that are mostly passed down through generations. We are not consciously aware of these beliefs and are led to believe that our actions are normal. When you act from your true self you are in power and have control over your life. When you act in your primal nature you live in fear and act out of instinct, even when it is inappropriate. When acting within your primal nature you are easily controlled by those who know how to push your buttons. You are stuck and overwhelmed by the events and people around you. An average session lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.

Testimonials

"I am forever grateful to The Center for Suicide Awareness for allowing a platform to tell our daughter's story. Amanda was 26 when she died by suicide 13 years ago. Through the Center, I have been able to try to bring to light her struggles and keep her memory alive. Whether it be in person, one-on-one, large groups, oral or written, her story is very important to our family. She will always be our daughter and must not be forgotten."

"The Center for Suicide Awareness is an amazing organization working to reduce suicide rates, eliminate stigma, train communities in resilience and inform communities about mental health. These individuals at the center are kind, passionate, and do good in the community. The center created the hopeline for individuals in need of immediate suicide intervention. I highly recommend participating in their events, utilizing their resources if necessary, and/or getting involved in some way so that we can combat suicide together!"

"I believe I have been with the Center for Suicide Awareness for the past ten years helping in whatever I could do to make known to the public that the Center is here to give support to those lost a loved one to suicide. Having the experience of wanting to end my life because I no longer could bear the pain of depression. By the grace of God I did not complete my route to suicide. I was fortunate that my brain chemistry slowly began to stablize and was helped by a police sargeant who had experience with mental illnesses and helped me back to my family. Because of this experience, I have been able to help families what may have been happening in their loved ones' lives that caused them to consider suicide."
